Preserving the essence of Mexican cuisine: sustainability starts with authentic ingredients and traditional processes

Talking about sustainability in business is easy; implementing it, not so much. At Neos Tempo, we know this well. Our mission is to design sustainable events and incentive trips, minimising environmental impact and generating real value for local communities. However, making this a reality involves overcoming logistical, economic and operational challenges.

Every bite makes a difference: these tacos are not only delicious but also support the local economy and promote sustainable eating

One of the biggest challenges we have faced is in our line of Solidarity Catering , where we integrate products from small farmers in Milpa Alta and Xochimilco into the menus we offer to companies. We wanted our events to transcend the moment and leave a lasting impact: that each dish served would strengthen the local economy and encourage more conscious eating.

Supply chain barriers: quality and costs

However, turning this vision into reality has required rethinking our entire operation. Working with small producers without efficient distribution infrastructure led us to design new solutions to ensure quality, freshness and availability in optimal times for the corporate market.

Moreover, fair production often involves higher costs than traditional options, which represents a challenge in an environment where profitability remains a key factor. Despite this, at Neos Tempo we have chosen not to compromise our values, finding innovative ways to make this commitment viable.

Solidarity Box Lunch: a sustainable model in action

As a result of this effort, today we have consolidated a line of solidarity box lunches, created in collaboration with a chef aligned with our sustainability principles. This proposal not only offers a responsible option for companies, but also ensures that each purchase directly impacts local producers, promoting a meaningful business model.

More than catering: a real impact

What we have learned is that sustainability is not just a label; it is a commitment that translates into challenging daily decisions. But it is also what sets us apart. While others offer catering, at Neos Tempo we offer impact, connecting businesses with the land, the community and the future of the country.

Implementing sustainability is not easy, but it is the only way to do business with purpose.

How are you integrating sustainability into your value chain?
